Your condominium has made a smart decision and signed a contract for Lounea's internet connection. Take the free of charge basic connection onto use by registering it in the OmaLounea portal, where you can also easily order faster connection or purchase a new WiFi-router.
5 easy steps for setting up the network:
- Go to OmaLounea
- Write your address, also the number of apartment
- Select the free basic connection or choose a faster upgrade
- Add a streaming service, internet security or WiFi-router if needed
- Sign in using your existing OmaLounea id, or register as a new user. You'll need to use strong e-identification like online banking id verification or Mobile Certificate ("Mobiilivarmenne") to verify your identity
- Check the contents of your shopping basket and confirm you order

Why do I need to register?
ISP's have certain legal liabilities, for example keep a log of the users of allocated IP-addresses and a liability to inform internet users during certain conditions
When can I register?
Registeration is available once you apartment has been connected. You'll get a notification to you mail box.
Can I register with a smartphone or using mobile internet?
Yes.
Registration is possible from any internet connection. The registration page works on many different devices, including smartphones and tablets. Be careful when entering your address.
What happens if I don't register
Some time after activation, your apartment's Internet connection will automatically direct you to this help site and from there to registration in OmaLounea.
What messages will I receive from Lounea?
Registering as a broadband user does not automatically add you to our marketing lists. In OmaLounea's Customer Information menu (Asiakastiedot-valikko), you can easily manage your own marketing permissions.
We recommend ordering a newsletter aimed at Lounea customers, which is sent about once a month. In addition to commercial offers, we offer current and useful tips.

The basic speed of the internet connection and its registration are free for you, but at the same time, you can still order additional speed or other additional paid services if you wish.

Follow these instructions to register your apartment's broadband for your own use. You need a computer or other device with a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari or something else) and a way to do strong identification, e.g. mobile certificate or bank credentials.
1. Start
Go to www.lounea.fi/taloyhtiosaatavuus. Write your full address; postal code and postal district, street address. Click Show products (Näytä tuotteet).
2. Address
Write postal code, postal district and the first part of your street address. OmaLounea will suggest addresses that the system already knows, choose the correct one.
3. Select broadband
OmaLounea shows you the different broadband speed options, you can choose either the basic speed paid by the condominium or order a faster connection. Click on the product of your choice.
4. Select the device
Do you need a device to use the internet? Now you can also easily order a wireless router with which you can use the Internet throughout your apartment.
You can also choose "No thanks, I already have a device" if you don't need new devices.
5. Additional services
If you wish, you can also order a streaming service or a data security solution at the same time, just click on the service you choose. OmaLounea always shows the total amount of your purchases on the right upper corner.
Finally, click "Add to basket".
6. Shopping basket
You will receive a confirmation at the top of the browser about the contents of the shopping cart. Click "Go to basket". Check that your order is correct and "Proceed to checkout".
7. Log in to OmaLounea
If you already have previously created credentials for OmaLounea, you can now log in with them.
No credentials yet? Let's do them at the same time, so click here "Create ID".
8. Creating ID
You must make a strong identification to OmaLounea, for which you need e.g. bank credentials or a mobile phone with a Mobile Certificate.
In Oma Lounea, special attention has been paid to data security, and your bank details are not visible to Lounea, only your identity.
First, enter your social security number in the field provided for it. Click "Read and accept the terms of use".
In the pop-up window, you will now get OmaLounea's terms of use. Read, scroll down and finally click "I accept the terms of use". After acceptance, you return to the previous screen where "Terms of use accepted" is now displayed in green.
Next, click on the identification method you want and follow the instructions.
9. Creating a new account
Next, you create a new username. Your e-mail address is used as the ID, enter it in the first field.
Next, come up with a password, the requirements are explained at the bottom of the page. Never use the same password for different services. Enter the password in the lower fields and finally click "Create new password".
If you've already created an account for OmaLounea but don't remember it, you can now choose to use a previous account or create a brand new one.
10. Delivery
You will now come back to your order, as a logged in customer, so you will see your name in the upper left corner, under the Lounea logo.
The delivery address should now read your address, if not, write it there. The selection of the desired delivery time is not important, as speed increases and registration of the basic speed always take place immediately.
If you want an acknowledgment of the completion of the order to your e-mail or as a text to your mobile phone, check the desired option below or both and fill in the information to which address/number the acknowledgment will be sent.
The billing address is still visible at the bottom. This field is always displayed, even if the total amount of your order is €0, in which case you will of course not receive an invoice.
Finally, click "Next step".
11. Confirmation
You will still get a summary of your choices, finally click "Confirm order".
Hooray, everything is ready now!
The summary of your order is displayed as in the previous section, and you can also download the order confirmation as a PDF document, which also contains the contract summary. Also read other contract documents at www.lounea.fi/sopimusehdot, and download a copy for yourself for possible future use.
